Finally the weather has broken and things are just starting to appear more like spring here along the shorelines of Buzzards Bay. After what seemed like an endless winter here in New England the boat was finally uncovered this week and is in her slip for the 2015 season. After a few quick things to run down, a quick buff and wax she was floating and 20 minutes later was on fish like it was last October and was never off the water. A few of the trips this week to check the usual spring haunts gave up some nice healthy fresh run Striped Bass loaded with sea lice. Usually the first push of fish range from 18″-28″ which are perfect for the light tackle and fly rod anglers. We do have some open dates this month as we are now in full swing and starting to see fish moving in which usually gets the phone and emails started. If your looking to get out please contact us to arrange some time on the water during the coming weeks as nothing beats the spring fishing here in Buzzards Bay.
