Busy is an understatement and the weather we have had the last two days made for not only perfect bass fishing but a mix of pelagic species as well. I means when you get wind of a tuna feed from a local lobster guy you need to check it out and check it out we did. We managed to hook 2 on Tuesday but never got a chance to land either one due to pulled hooks and lobster gear but hey sometime you land them and other times you don’t but everything that could go wrong did. Overall I have been flat out the last 3 days putting people on not only big bass and bluefish but these small inshore tuna anywhere from 60-150lbs and loved every minute of it. Now I get to shift gears for the upcoming week and focus on bass again which is what I like as it’s easier on the boat and the gear. With that being said its time for bed only to get up 4 hours from now to meet my guys for the 2nd Annual Shwartz Center “Fishing for a Cause” Tourney which is starting this weekend. Wish PNP luck and standby for updates.
