Plug N Play Charters

Welcome to Plug N Play Charters website. We're off and running this season with some new tactics for all styles of fishing. Whether you like tossing huge plugs into the rocks for monster Striped Bass or drifting some sea-worms along the bottom for Fluke and Sea Bass we can make it happen. We're also going to be offering some harbor tours and beach picnic excursions this season so Welcome Aboard. All feedback is encouraged.

PNP Updates

Seminars, speaking in front of crowds……I’m not a huge fan to be honest I can’t stand it. Much like Belichick does I avoid the media and lime light and would prefer to just do my thing and be happy in doing so. But I’m not getting any younger and its time to start sharing what I’ve learned with others. So this past weekend I did one and it was received with open arms!

Today was a little tougher with the fact that I had fly anglers on the boat which at times for the bigger fish can be a challenge. Jim Cassidy and Joe Exner do a few trips a season and know the drill all too well. Early bird gets the worm and today was no exception. We left the dock at 4:30am to an amazing sunrise for the ride and high hopes of the same action we had yesterday. Upon arriving at the spot the conditions could not have been better. We drifted a few times and had a few fish but not the mass of life I had the day before so we decided to move before the sun got higher…GOOD CALL. We found an area that was holding some HUGE Bluefish in the 8-15lb range which are always fun on the fly rod and some very large bass if you could get away from the blues. We worked the area pretty hard and caught fish all morning before the tide started to slow up and the sun got higher making it a bit tougher. AWESOME day for these guys and Joe got his personal best bass on fly 28lbs and Jim got his first Bluefish over 10lbs on the fly which was also fun to watch. Great job guys and see you in the fall for albies 🙂
