Yesterday was a nice change of pace from Buzzards Bay and the Islands. Client Mike Harney from Newport asked if we could take him and two buds out for some fishing which worked out perfect using his boat which also meant sleeping in and no trailer ride or boat ramp antics at Fort Adams…YAY! We met nice and early and got out front along Brenton Reef to super nice conditions. It sounded like the last few days had been good so I figured hit the usual spots and we should find some fish. Right away we had bass hitting the lures and all three anglers went tight and couldn’t believe how quickly we were on the fish. All the spots had bass ranging from 10-20lbs with the occasional GATOR Bluefish school mixed in to make it interesting. Either way this trip was great and these guys had a wonderful time on the water yesterday morning. Looking fwd to doing it again soon Mike. TY!
