Plug N Play Charters

Welcome to Plug N Play Charters website. We're off and running this season with some new tactics for all styles of fishing. Whether you like tossing huge plugs into the rocks for monster Striped Bass or drifting some sea-worms along the bottom for Fluke and Sea Bass we can make it happen. We're also going to be offering some harbor tours and beach picnic excursions this season so Welcome Aboard. All feedback is encouraged.

Seminars, speaking in front of crowds……I’m not a huge fan to be honest I can’t stand it. Much like Belichick does I avoid the media and lime light and would prefer to just do my thing and be happy in doing so. But I’m not getting any younger and its time to start sharing what I’ve learned with others. So this past weekend I did one and it was received with open arms! Tweet

DSC_7411Well I have to say what a difference a day makes. I had Dave Gale today and we headed to the areas I’ve had fish all week and it was a different animal today. Some bait but not the huge amounts of birds and bass we had all week and very few fish to speak of in open water. Most of the action we did see on the bird piles was small and had teeth…yes the Bluefish have arrived in earnest. I don’t mind Bluefish but when your trying to chase bass and the fish are taking your flies that you spent so much time on it sucks! Dave and I did manage about 10 fish mostly small and some had teeth but overall it was a wonderful day on the water. The other highlight was that some of the structure I usually overlook this time of year had fish which saved the day. For the most part it was a wonderful trip. Forecast for winds tomorrow are not ideal but I think I’m going to tell these guys to dress and be ready because you just have to go this time of year to score!
