As many already know June is traditionally a great month for larger bass on both fly and spin. This month has been no exception with solid action but the weather has been killing the fishing for the most part making it tough to stay on the fish. with the deluge of rain we’ve had comes run off in the estuaries along Buzzards Bay making it tough get out of the wind and find fish with super dirty water conditions on windy days when open water fishing is rough. For the most part on the days that we can venture out it’s been a steady pick of fish but we are working for every fish we land. Most days the clients have had shots at some “big girls” but the average is running about 15-20lbs which has been AWESOME! I really hope this weather breaks just to allow the water quality to improve and let us run a little more during the day and cover some ground. We do have a few days left in June and if not an afternoon fishing trip can be just as good this time of year so feel free to contact us!
June fishing is in full swing!
